Custom Shade Works for NEOM Duba Reservoirs
Specialized tensile and steel shade structures for crucial water infrastructure in NEOM.
Safeguarding crucial infrastructure is a key aspect of Saudi Arabia’s development. For the NEOM Duba Water Reservoirs project, Shades Systems was contracted by Shapoorji Pallonji to provide custom tensile and steel shading solutions. The primary objective was to protect vital water treatment and storage equipment from extreme sun exposure and coastal salinity.
Our engineering team developed a specialized structural framing system coated with marine-grade epoxy and heavy galvanization. The tensile membranes were tailored to fit complex spatial constraints around the reservoirs. This installation not only regulates temperatures for sensitive equipment but also guarantees minimal maintenance requirements over a prolonged lifespan, perfectly aligning with NEOM’s operational excellence standards.
