IKEA Jeddah Commercial Parking & Walkway Shades
Sleek and functional parking and walkway canopies elevating the retail customer experience at IKEA Jeddah.
Enhancing the retail customer experience starts in the parking lot. IKEA Saudi Arabia directly contracted Shades Systems to overhaul the exterior shading at their flagship Jeddah store. The project scope included extensive car parking covers and weather-protected pedestrian walkways leading to the main entrance.
We designed an aesthetically pleasing system using bright, highly reflective PVDF fabric that naturally lowers ambient temperatures underneath. The galvanized steel cantilevers were painted to match IKEA’s clean corporate branding. Executed in phases to ensure the store remained fully operational, this installation provides thousands of daily shoppers with comfortable, shaded access, demonstrating our ability to deliver large-scale commercial projects with minimal disruption.
