The petrochemical industry enforces some of the most rigorous safety and material standards in the world. For the Al-Farabi Petrochemical facility in Yanbu, Shades Systems partnered with Al-Saqaya Arabia to engineer and install factory shade structures for critical operational and parking zones.
The project utilized a hybrid system of heavy galvanised steel and fire-retardant architectural fabrics, explicitly designed to comply with stringent petrochemical safety codes. Our team managed complex logistics and severe site access restrictions, ensuring all welding and assembly strictly adhered to plant regulations. The completed structures offer excellent UV protection and structural resilience against the corrosive coastal atmosphere, fully supporting the plant’s robust infrastructure needs.
