Al-Shuqaiq Steam Power Station Steel Shades
Massive industrial canopies shielding assets at the Al-Shuqaiq power generation facility.
The Al-Shuqaiq Steam Power Station in Jizan is a cornerstone of the region’s energy infrastructure. Partnering with main contractor Hyundai Heavy Industries, Shades Systems was tasked with engineering and constructing heavy-duty steel shade canopies for the facility on behalf of the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC).
The project required massive, column-free spans to accommodate power generation equipment and service vehicles. We designed rigid steel cantilever structures treated with advanced anti-corrosive galvanization, suitable for the humid southern coastal climate. The precision fabrication executed in our factory ensured smooth, fast on-site erection, minimizing interference with the power station’s stringent operational timelines and delivering decades of structural reliability.
